YIN represents a meditative & passive practice mostly in seated or lying positions. All poses are held for 2-5 minutes and all you do while holding the pose is breathe deeply and relax.
Unlike YANG Yoga styles (Vinyasa, Flows, etc), which mostly work with your muscles, YIN focuses on your fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones.
It is a powerful practice for healing connective tissue, improving flexibility, releasing tension and healing the nervous system.
YOU MAY NEED A PILLOW, BLANKET, & SOME WARM CLOTHES.

Depending on class, it can be DYNAMIC & SWEATY, POWERFUL & DEMANDING, or MEDITATIVE & SOOTHING.
I have experience in teaching ASHTANGA, HATHA, VINYASA, RESTORATIVE, YIN, and MEDITATION.
